The Big Peach ATL

Driving in from the airport I noticed the very beautiful, contemporary skyline that is Atlanta.  But one of the more distinctive buildings is the gold dome of the state capitol.  Not only does it hold its own in the cityscape even though it is dwarfed by  the other buildings of downtown Atlanta, the gold dome dominates.

It is one of  the largest gold domes of all the U.S. capitol buildings.
