CapitOl or CapitAl

One of the first things I learned when writing this blog is the difference between capitol and capital.  Capitol is the building that houses the government of the state.  The capital is the city where the state government is located.  It’s easy to remember that the capitol is the building with the dome.  When Capitol is capitalized it refers to the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.  Now we all know!
